The Convenient Store Alarm System helps police in high crime areas and in easy target areas such as convenient stores and liquor stores. It has two components -- an alarm in the store and a receiver in the local police car. When robbed, the clerk hits the panic button, and the local police car receives a digital number display which he can use to identify a particular store. The goal is to make the police more responsive to the clerk and save his life as well as capturing the robber.
