The
Stealth Bank Security System has three components, and is designed for
use in smaller cities (less than 500,000). The three components are
the currency trannsmitter, an alarm box, and the Maxima receiver. Currency
transmitters are placed in teller's boxes and set to begin transmitting
when handed to a robber. As soon as it goes off, a light in the security
office of the bank begins transmitting, warning the manager that a robbery
is occurring. Additionally, the Maxima receiver in the police car can
be used to track the robber when he departs the bank. The system does
not require towers, computers, or mapping capabilities of larger systems,
thereby making it more affordable for smaller communities to implement.
